Presentations

Susan frequently speaks with audiences in person and by Zoom at events presented by community organizations, libraries, museums, schools and universities, detention sites, book stores, churches, and book clubs.  

She customizes the format and topics for each group. Examples include: 

  • 10-minute school assemblies 

  • 1-hour talk with Q&A 

  • 2-hour continuing education session  

Connecting with people across the country and around the world continues to be a highlight for Susan. She has spoken at:

  • The November 1, 2022 USC Town and Gown meeting, Los Angeles, CA 

Moderating and Conversing

Susan enjoys serving as a moderator for panel discussions (e.g., “Our Fragile Democracy: Historic and Present-Day Attacks on Our Civil Rights and Civil Liberties”, Japanese American National Museum, Japanese American Citizens League, Florin Chapter of JACL, and the Californian Asian Pacific American Bar Association, February 24, 2024, Los Angeles, CA).
